We are all curious to know more about where we have come from as our past can help us find out more about where we are going. With this in mind we wanted to bring you something that can help the kids learn more about genealogy and their ancestry with this planner. Our Family Roots planner will give your kids the opportunity to have a page for each ancestor they want to know more about and will allow them to track information and data on each.
What can your kids track with the planner?
Let’s take a look at what your kids can add to the sheet.
They can keep track of;
- Their ancestors name,
- Their relationship to them,
- Their parents,
- The location of their birth,
- Their spouse,
- Their children, and,
- More miscellaneous information on them.
It’s going to be a great experience to be able to track down what your kids can find out about their ancestors. This is a wonderful way for the family to become closer and get to know each other better. Your kids can find out more information by interviewing older members of the family and finding out more about their ancestors to add to the list.
You can also get together and sift through old family photos, as there is a slot for photos too. It will be wonderful to sit together and go through the photos and chat about the family members and their lives. You can learn so much and sometimes even find out new things about your kids and the similarity that they may have with their ancestors.
