Description

We have a wonderful game for you all to build – this is the flat version of our Royal Game of Ur template, inspired by the Royal Game of Ur, which was discovered in the city of Ur in Ancient Eygpt in the 1920s. It’s a lovely 2 player strategy game that goes back as far as the early third millenium BC.

For full details on the game and how to build it – check out our article, but just so you get an idea the game is to run the course of the board and bear all one’s pieces off before one’s opponent. The game is similar to modern backgammon and it combines elements of both strategy and luck.
